What we are here to do
We are a Colorado nonprofit corporation focused on public education about community safety, crime impacts and law-enforcement responsiveness. The work combines documented community reports, independent research, public education and lawful advocacy.
For Constituents, By Constituents expresses the participation we intend to build. It does not imply that we speak for every resident or that contributors automatically become voting members.
Support good work. Examine what falls short.
Fair accountability can recognize effective service and scrutinize decisions that fail the public. Our approach is issue-focused and independent of government, police agencies and political campaigns.
We do not claim government authority, a power to investigate crimes or a right to compel an agency response.
People & governance
Elliot David Charles is the founder and registered agent. State incorporation was completed on October 20, 2026. Confirmed directors, officers and adopted governance documents will be listed when those actions are completed.
State registration is a factual status, not a certification of research quality or federal tax exemption.
Relevant relationships belong in the open.
Peak HVAC, the business involved in our first case, is connected to the founder. A reviewer without a personal stake must assess any proposed adverse findings before publication.
The nonprofit’s public-interest work must remain separate from private insurance claims, business recovery and personal compensation. No conclusion is predetermined by a founder’s experience.
